I couldn't get any rest here. Passing traffic was so loud all night that it seemed like the rooms had no soundproofing at all. The restaurant floor was dirty too, as if it hadn't been cleaned, which left me seriously questioning the food hygiene. This doesn't feel like a comfortable hotel. Management needs to address the cleanliness and comfort instead of relying on the hotel's name.

The food was the one good part of the hotel. There were loads of mosquitoes, the service wasn't very good, and my room was kind of dirty with a small bathroom. I hoped a cheap price might get me a great hotel, but of course that didn't happen.

This was my third stay at this small four-star hotel, which is cosy and comfortable, and the room price is reasonable with breakfast included. I checked in around 4:30 on Sunday morning after more than seven hours on the road from Malang in a hired car. The trip dragged on because the car made several stops to deliver parcels and drop off other passengers.

I was on the second floor, and there was no water from the tap for washing my hands. Street noise made it hard to sleep. The bathroom had no toilet paper, the room had no tissues, and there was no hot water maker.

For this price, it's not bad compared with the cheaper places around. It's an okay, inexpensive hotel right in central Banyuwangi, but I'd recommend it for transit only. For a nicer stay, look elsewhere.
