There’s good street food within a 100-meter walk, and the spot is quiet with easy access to the main road.

The bed was the best I've slept in in Indonesia, and the staff were super friendly. The mosque gets very loud around 6:30 pm and 4:10 am, so that early wake-up is sorted. Amazing stay.
We stayed for a night before heading to Ijen volcano with a pickup in the middle of the night, and getting any sleep was impossible. The walls are so thin that you hear everything, and the whole place was loud. A hotel guy kept opening and closing his car, with an annoying beep each time. Then around 10:30 pm, they started construction right outside our door. I went out and said we were trying to sleep. They apologized and said it would only be a few more minutes, but carried on tapping nails into the facade. Maybe it's quiet if you're trying to sleep at 12, when our pickup came. If you're staying before Ijen and need sleep, avoid this place.
The room and bathroom were clean. I'd pick building 1 over building 2, since parking at building 2 is very limited.
The room is simple, clean, and nice. It's a budget hotel in Banyuwangi, near the well-known restaurant Osing Deles.
