RedDoorz Syariah near UNTAG Banyuwangi 2

One of my favorites.

I booked through the app, but when I arrived, I didn’t get what I’d ordered. The service was really poor. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone visiting from out of town.

I ended up changing hotels after checking every room. Some were dusty and looked like they hadn’t been used in a long time, some had broken air conditioning that wouldn’t cool, and others even had cockroaches. The first room I tried was dirty too, with dirt on the floor, mattress, and bathroom toilet, so it wasn’t just dust. I arrived around 8 PM, tired after the long train ride, and found nobody at the inn, not even another guest. I asked a neighbor where the security guard was, and they told me to call the number on the glass door. I called dozens of times and got no answer, then waited outside for two hours. That left me feeling uneasy. At 10 PM, the innkeeper finally called and said I could come in and pick a room myself, with the key at the front desk. He said it was ready. Huh, it was self-service? This was the worst-serviced inn I’ve ever been to. NEVER STAY HERE!!!

For a short stay, this place works well. The room has air conditioning, a TV, and a water heater, so the amenities are pretty complete for the price. There’s a shared kitchen with coffee and tea, plus several dining tables that could work for a small group gathering. It’s clean and tidy, and it’s in town near shopping centers.
