Spot On 2371 Islami Family Residence

It's near the airport and Banyuwangi cafe. The cafe is on the second floor, with a lovely farm view. It's my favorite cafe.

We were only staying one day so we'd be close to the airport for our early flight. I'd already booked on Agoda when they suddenly asked for another 25,000 IDR for administration, though they hadn't done anything beyond handing me the key and telling me which room was ours when I asked. They weren't friendly, didn't even go into the room, and asked when I was checking out. If I hadn't paid Agoda already and could get a refund, I would've looked elsewhere. A bad impression for my last day in Banyuwangi 🥲

I paid for a promo booking on Agoda, but when I arrived they said they no longer worked with the app. I couldn't get hold of Agoda, so I had to settle it with the property myself. I'd avoid booking this hotel through the app unless you want to risk wasting your money.

We arrived and were turned away because they said they were no longer operating. This was after the order had been accepted and paid in full. The owner had claimed it was accepted, so being rejected at the location was absurd and felt fraudulent.
