A good budget choice, very close to the ferry terminal and nearby malls. The staff were hospitable and friendly.

Good value for the price, with a spacious room. Cleanliness could be better, but it's still worth the cost. About eight minutes from Batam Centre Ferry Terminal.

My family came from Canada and we stayed here for a few days. Really cool place to stay. Definitely recommend it!

We booked a junior suite, but it was really dirty. The sheets were so thin I didn't dare sleep on the mattress, in case dirt or bugs came through. I slept on the blanket and worried insects might crawl on me during the night. There were lots of stains and random little hairs on the bedsheet. The towel smelled strange, so I didn't dare shower, and they provided a bar of soap instead of body wash. There were warning signs saying the hotel wasn't responsible for electric shocks from charging devices using its ports, or for valuables lost in the room. The room keys are manual.

The kitchen and cleaning staff were really good, friendly and helpful, but the front desk girls didn't seem interested in customer service. I asked to leave my city clothes in storage while I went to some islands, and they refused. They wouldn't call the manager or give me the number so I could contact them myself. I've left city clothes at hotels all over the world many times before, for a fee, and it was never a problem. This time it was, so I didn't come back after the islands. That's how you lose business. The main road location is reasonably convenient, just outside the ferry terminal, and you can walk there in 10 minutes with small luggage. Traffic gets a bit loud in the evenings, but that's town life. The pool was okay and mostly empty, and the rooms were okay too, though they look and feel a bit old. The big old mall behind the hotel has a good food court, and there are small food warungs out front after 5 pm. The really strong mold smell hits as soon as you enter the lobby, and gave me a headache before check-in was even finished. It carries through the elevator, corridors and rooms. You have to keep the room window open all day and night if you don't want to get really sick. Breakfast was the usual poor quality Indonesian nasi or mee goreng, with nothing else, and wasn't worth paying for. No way I'd stay here again. Don't stay here!
