Batam Harbour Boutique Hotel & Spa

Ariff and Faris at the front office made this stay memorable. They were warm and professional, handled check-in smoothly, shared local tips, and greeted us with a smile whenever we passed through the lobby. The whole team made us feel very welcome. The rooms were clean and much more spacious than I expected from a boutique hotel, making for a comfortable place to rest after a long day. Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal is an easy walk away, and Tembak Langit and M-One Club and KTV are nearby for nightlife. I had a great stay at the Harbour Bay Boutique Hotel and Spa. The service, comfort, and location made it a place I’d gladly return to.

The staff were polite, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel until it makes major improvements. For comparison, Yello Hotel is cleaner and more modern, serves a much better breakfast, and has more attentive service, such as helping guests load their luggage into cars without being asked. This hotel felt dated and poor value. My room’s bathroom door handle was broken, and the lobby restroom was dirty with a strong bad odor, as if it wasn’t cleaned regularly. Breakfast was a letdown during my 4-day stay. Most food was too salty, sweet, or spicy. The rice was mushy, the porridge dry, and the fruit smelled off and was often unavailable. Fried eggs were the only item I could eat.

The in-house Almanda Spa was superb, and Yanti gave me a massage that left me feeling completely refreshed. My friends and I had a wonderful 3-day stay, thanks in large part to Ariff and Faris, who greeted us warmly and took great care of us. They were kind, professional, and friendly throughout. We’ll definitely return. Highly recommended, and keep up the good work, team!

I really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fried Meggie and local fruit. Our cheapest room was still very comfortable, the shower worked well, and they made up the room when we asked. We were welcomed with drinks, and there’s a shuttle to shopping malls. Harbour Bay Jetty is within walking distance. I’d appreciate a parking coupon, since we have to pay each time we enter the habour area.
