The breakfast buffet was a letdown. The food was cold, too salty, and poor in quality. I’ve been an Ascott member for over three years and stayed at several Ascott-associated properties across Asia, but this was by far my worst stay in the group. I was also disappointed by the room readiness. Check-in was listed as 2:00 PM on the hotel's website, but I waited until 3:30 PM. The receptionist just told me to wait aside, without an apology or explanation. In the room, the toilet paper roll was nearly empty, with only a few sheets left. The lifts were old, small, and poorly ventilated, so they felt warm and uncomfortable. The whole experience fell well below my expectations.

Service from the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant was exceptional. Desi kindly listened to our feedback about improving the service. The updated room was nice, with decent pillows and a decent bed. The in-room channels and app were useful. I did notice a few small insects and flies, and carpeted floors would be better. Breakfast was just okay, with little variety. The noodles were quite hard, and fondue at breakfast felt unnecessary.

The room was comfortable and squeaky clean, and breakfast had a good variety and tasted delicious. Customer service was great and quick. This hotel is worth it, and I’d come back every time.
