The staff were nice, and the area made it easy to find food, with restaurants and food stalls around, a 24hours convenient store next door, and the airport not too far away. But the app reviews about bedsheets not being changed were right in my case. I found hairs and stains on the pillow and bedsheet, and it seemed like the sheet hadn't been changed. Check the bed as soon as you enter, then ask staff to change the sheets or request another room.

For the S$19 I paid for a studio room, I was happy and would stay again. The lobby and room were clean, staff were friendly and quick to respond, and the toilet was clean with strong water pressure, a rain shower, nice bed, and good towels. The slippers were lousy. There's lift access and card entry, so no keys to carry, and food, shops, and a supermarket are nearby.

This is a nice budget hotel for a few nights in Batam. The room and bathroom were clean, with free wifi and AC, and there was self-service tea and coffee in the lobby as a welcome drink. Two food courts are right beside the hotel. One has dishes from other parts of indonesia, including soto betawi, bubur manado, and coto makassar, along with batam and malay food. The other serves padang food. There's also a 24 hours alfamart a couple of blocks away, and atm bays nearby. The price is low too.

There's late night supper at the shoplot behind the hotel, and the popular anchor cafe is a 3 min walk away. There's no massage place within walking distance. For this price, you can't ask for better quality.
