HARRIS Hotel Batam Center Batam

We chose Harris Hotel Batam Center for its proximity to the ferry terminal when we visited Batam, Indonesia last month, and were glad we did. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide selection with regular refills. The morning dance by staff entertained the guests, and shopping centers are nearby too. When we return to Batam for a holiday, we’ll choose this hotel again.

The staff were the best part of our stay at Harris Hotel Batam Centre. Everyone was welcoming, cheerful, and attentive, clearly working as a team and taking their jobs seriously. They stayed positive even when visibly busy, and we always felt welcome. Special thanks to Trestha at reception, Rosalia, Marysa, Awa, Nika, Azis, Michael, Mr Liam, and the many others whose names we didn’t catch. The location is very convenient, next door to Batam Center International Ferry Terminal and across from Batam Mega Mall. Our room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable king bed and effective air conditioning. The walk-in shower had excellent pressure, and Wi-Fi worked well throughout the property. I loved the water filling machines on every floor. We didn’t use the pool. The gym was small but cool, with great equipment and water refills available. I have no hesitation in highly recommending the hotel.

We’re regular guests and glad to be back. The room was clean, and the staff provided good service. Azis impressed me with his pleasant smile and the care he took clearing all the dishes. Thanks for the great service. We’ll be back! Judy Goh

The location is handy, right beside Batam Centre ferry terminal, with Megamall opposite for eateries and a supermarket. Grab rides were easy to get. Rooms were well equipped, and there’s a hot and cold water dispenser in the corridor. We requested a rollaway bed for an extra charge and connecting rooms at no extra charge. The breakfast service crew, Jhony and Soviana, were cheerful and very attentive. Breakfast had a good spread, and service was excellent. We also enjoyed the nighttime outdoor street food stalls, open Tuesday to Friday nights. There were only a few stalls, but the food was affordable, around 15k to 30k rupiah per item, and the cleanliness felt assured. The room was comfortable.
