The resort is away from the busy city, and getting there takes some time, but the quiet setting and facilities made the trip worthwhile. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with its wide choice of tasty food, and there was plenty at the resort for couples and families with kids. Our room was roomy, clean, and comfortable. The bedding could be better, but we were happy with the rest. We’d asked for a higher floor away from the lifts, and the team arranged it. They even walked us all the way to the room, which was a lovely touch. Check-in and check-out were easy, too. We were there for 3D2N to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel had a slice of cake waiting for us, along with a lovely bed decoration, and those gestures made the occasion feel special. The staff stayed welcoming and helpful throughout. It was a very busy holiday weekend, but we could see everyone doing their best. Thanks to the whole team for a memorable anniversary. We’d happily recommend Holiday Inn Resort Batam and hope to return.

The resort grounds were well kept, with a nice tropical feel, and the food and drinks were great. The staff at both the terrace and the Japanese restaurant were really friendly. I came from Singapore for a golf getaway and wasn’t expecting much, since the surrounding area still looks unfinished and I knew the resort was fairly old. But the welcome was warm, and the staff were great. My room was clean and spacious, even if it wasn’t luxurious. I really can’t fault the stay. Very good value for money.

The kids, aged 11 and 14, loved the pool. We also used the spa as a family and had an amazing experience for the price. They took really good care of us. There’s a shuttle between the seaport and hotel, plus another one to a mall in Batam. We ate breakfast, tried the Thai restaurant, and had the BBQ buffet. All of it was superb and great value. The rooms and hotel are a little tired, sure, but the price and the amazing service make up for that. The Holiday Inn is a fantastic hotel with wonderful staff.

The swimming pool was the standout for us, and the kids had a great time there. I stayed in a suite that was spacious, well cared for, and enjoyable. The food was quite good, too, and the parking area was large and convenient for anyone arriving by car. Check-in took longer than I expected. Still, the facilities and reasonable prices made for a comfortable, family-friendly stay with good overall value in Batam.

A really easy, relaxing getaway from Singapore. Our 3D2N stay was lovely, and the warm, friendly staff made everything feel welcoming and fuss-free. We travelled with a child, and the spacious two-bedroom suite worked perfectly for us. There was lots to enjoy around the resort, including pools, a kids club, and a spa, plus plenty of food choices. We’d definitely come back.
