The service deserves 5 stars, but the accommodations don’t. Check-in took more than 15 minutes, and we were in family room 301. It was very hot, with the air conditioner facing the other side of the bed. There were lots of cockroaches in the toilet, and after running the water for a few seconds, the floor flooded.

For the price, this is hard to beat for value. The room was clean, toiletries were supplied, and the linens and towels looked and smelled clean. It was musty at first, but the smell cleared quickly. The hotel was spotless, security was very good, and the staff were super helpful. We couldn’t have the hotel breakfast, which was a shame, but we ended up having a much better meal at the amazing green restaurant around the corner. Would we stay again? Hell, why not.

I caught and killed three cockroaches and a few ants. The AC wasn’t cold, I barely slept, and there was a slight smell on the pillow.

Booked through Agoda and found the room excellent for the price. Toiletries were provided, and breakfast was good, though there wasn’t much choice for vegetarians. No complaints. Maybe they could put a foot mat outside the bathroom to help keep the floor dry.

A clean, cool option for budget travellers, with a decent breakfast. It’s quite close to lots of places to relax and hang out. Keep an offline map and a local SIM card handy to find your way around.
