I’d planned to stay two nights, but left for another hotel after the first. Our room was on level 6, and the lift doesn’t go there. It looked like the renovation had just finished, but the room hadn’t been cleaned. The floor mat was dusty and stained, and walking barefoot left our feet black. The bed linen smelled of sweat. In the middle of the night, a very loud machine noise started, followed by five blackouts in a row. I only booked this place because hotels were scarce during peak period.

The renovation has made the rooms better than they used to be. It’s very affordable, and the air conditioning works really well. There’s now a smart TV with YouTube and other apps too. Great.

It’s good value for money, and I’m likely to come back. The hotel is quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the air conditioning works well. The Wi-Fi signal in the room is strong too. My room was fairly tidy and clean, though a few spots were dusty. The bathroom was clean, and the shower area has a partition so the whole bathroom doesn’t get wet, which is a plus. There’s also a safety box in the room. The TV has more than 50 channels, but most, if not all, had poor reception. Many eateries are nearby, and it’s a 10-minute walk to Nagoya hill shopping mall and Nagoya food court. A massage shop is connected to the hotel, which is very convenient.

There are lots of shops nearby, but the room was a little dirty. They also kept the same sheets after cleaning the room instead of changing them.
