RedDoorz Premium near Harbour Bay Mall Batam 2

The room and service were both awful. The TV was broken, so I couldn't watch it. Really bad, nobody should try this hotel.

I stayed last weekend because I just needed somewhere to rest after a massage. It was great value for what I paid, and I'd happily come back if I stay overnight in Batam again. Nagoya Hill is a five-minute walk away, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. The bed, room, and toilet were all very clean. Breakfast didn't have much variety, but at SGD38 a night, what could I expect? I loved the lontong.

If negative ratings were possible, this RedDoorz would be number one. They seem to take more reservations than they have rooms. Whoever arrives and pays first gets a room, even when it's full. I booked three rooms, got confirmation by email, and then was told on arrival that I'd cancelled the reservation. I was furious, and the staff were not friendly at all. RedDoorz emailed me saying first that the cancellation was due to an operational issue. In a second email, they claimed my credit card was invalid. What a joke. The confirmation from booking. Com said I would pay at the property. RedDoorz makes people who book online look like fools.

I’ve been a regular at Godes hotel batam since it first opened, so finding out my reservation had been cancelled at check-in on Friday 24/1/20 was a real shock. The receptionist blamed agoda, which was the booking platform I used, and I was left to find somewhere else to stay. There was a technical issue, the property later emailed, but I couldn’t accept that as an explanation. A woman was covering reception, and nobody else was there to help. It was incredibly frustrating. If you’re planning to stay at godes hotel, call the property to confirm your booking first. Please share what happened so others know.
