Hanoman Kota Batu

The shower in the regular room was awesome, the bed was good, and the Wi-Fi was fast, just as the brochure promised. The room had a big TV, a jug of water, an armchair my dad loved, and slippers my mum liked. There were umbrellas in each room, too. The main light had switches on both sides of the bed, which was really handy. The lounge was pretty, the interiors used high quality materials, and the nighttime lighting looked amazing. The workers were very nice, and for this quality the price felt affordable. I liked the triangular ceiling a lot. Looking up at it while listening to music was relaxing, and the room didn’t feel cramped like it can with short, flat ceilings. The large black steel door in front of the room was unexpected, but it gave the place a luxurious feel. One small mishap: I bumped my head on one of the fairly large bedside lamps twice while reaching for clothes in my suitcase. No injury or pain, just a bit of a knock. The bedcover was the catch. My mum said its material felt a bit like plastic, and it didn’t keep us warm enough. Both my parents shivered and slept badly all night. I was fine, though. Batu was chilly, but I liked it. I wouldn’t count the bedcover as a reason to avoid this hotel, and I’d stay here again next time I visit Batu. I told my mum, “ma kalau kita ke Batu, kita ke sini lagi ya 😁👍,” and she agreed. Hanoman, you’re a great hotel, please don’t go bald. I mean, bankrupt. Thanks for reading! P.S. You should try staying here for at least one night. Don’t miss the shower.

The room design was great, inside and out, and each room is in its own building, so it feels private. There’s a game room and a sand playground that’s good for kids. Staying here felt like a different kind of hotel experience. The road out front gets a little jammed on weekends, but it’s comfortable inside. Loved the room facade 👍

We stayed during the pandemic, and I really liked the hotel’s cleanliness rules. At check-in, we had to show a negative test result. Rooms were disinfected, then sealed with a sticker to show they’d stayed closed afterward. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room had a minimalist, modern look. A great place if you want to relax somewhere away from people.

The alley was especially gorgeous, and the place itself was beautiful. I really had no complaints. Breakfast was the one confusing part: we had a buffet on the first day, then had to order from a menu the next.
