Lembah Metro Resort

I’ve really enjoyed my time here, and it’s comfortable for me so far. They provide one durian for each room, which I really appreciate and enjoy. There’s a very good chance I’ll return to this resort.

The cool Batu weather meant we didn’t need the AC, and the pool was enjoyable, though the strong chemicals left my eyes dry. We had to wait at the restaurant before check-in, but the scenery and fresh air made that time worthwhile. The resort feels peaceful, with lovely views, even though it’s not far from the city center. Our deluxe room was spacious and clean, with welcome drinks, a well-equipped bathroom, and breakfast with plenty of variety. Service was nice, but Agoda gave me the wrong check-in information: it listed 24 hours, while check-in was actually at 2 pm. A good option if you’re looking for a place under Rp 1.000.000.

I spent three nights here. The room was roomy and had a bathtub, but the Wi-Fi signal was very weak. On the second day I noticed housekeeping hadn’t cleaned the cup, and there were lots of flies in the room. Management didn’t seem to do anything about them.

We came across this place by chance after dinner at Omah Madhang nearby, then went to look around and were amazed by what we found. It’s tucked away from the outside world, with great views and beautiful surroundings. The cottage and glamping-style hotel feels modern and luxurious while still being homey, with complete facilities. It seems well suited to official meetings or get-togethers with friends and family. I didn’t take any photos last night, sadly, but I’d like to plan a vacation here soon.
