I stayed two nights in a Deluxe room at a very reasonable price. The owner was friendly and helpful, and there was a wide choice of local TV channels. Tea, coffee, and drinking water were available without limit at the end of the corridor. There was also a sofa and a lounge chair on the first-floor balcony, and the gate was locked at night. Bike rental and laundry were available through third parties. The place is in a quiet alley in central Batu, within walking distance of Bukit Bintang Batu. Take care crossing the busy Jaksa Agung road. Museum Angkut was a five-minute drive away, and Lippo Plaza Batu was three minutes away. The shower pressure was a bit low, and there was no sink for washing your face or brushing your teeth.

For the price, the room was fine and the location was good. It had a fan and shower, and we could get hot water for morning coffee, which was a big plus for us. The people were lovely too.

Tiara Family Residence is comfortable, and the staff are friendly. The price is affordable, so it's still my first choice. I'd recommend staying here.
