At 160,000 Rupiah on a weekday, the room is roomy, and it’s easy to find, just a block from the town square with plenty of food nearby. The staff are friendly, and they rent motorbikes too. My room faced outside, with windows that open wide and a fan. The sheets still smelled of someone else’s telon oil, so I’m not sure they’d been changed. Hot water only worked for a little while, which was a shame in the cool city. The uphill street outside was noisy until midnight.

It’s easy to find, near the town square, with plenty of food around. But there’s no AC, the TV wouldn’t start, and I couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to connect. The receptionist should check ID cards carefully before handing them over, to avoid giving someone the wrong one.

The location is close to the town square, but what we received wasn’t what we booked. The room was expensive for what it was, and although they said it could sleep five, there were only enough pillows for two.

The room was neat and clean, and the service was good. It’s a nice option for the price because it’s close to the Batu town square. I booked through the RedDoorz app and got a discount with voucher code RDAFFPASTIUUNTUNG.
