Rosemary Homestay

It's in a quiet area, and the facilities are quite good. For a homestay, I think it's pretty good.

It's got a Santorini feel.

Good, steady service. The only drawback is that it's far from everything.

The area was quiet when I stayed, and the homestay is close to Batu town square and the main road, with a small cafe across the street and a gas station nearby. I booked a fairly roomy Type C for around 300,000 Rupiah through an online travel app. It was clean, as was the rest of the property. There’s a fan but no AC; hot water worked, Wi-Fi was fairly quick, and the TV had lots of channels, though the picture wasn’t HD. Towels, soap, and hand soap were provided, but bring a toothbrush. No kettle or breakfast, though you can ask the caretaker for tea or coffee. Parking in the yard fits two cars, and you can park outside too. The security guard was a little unsure when I first arrived, perhaps because he only looks after the property and didn’t know who else was booking that day, but check-in was smooth and he was helpful. I’d suggest putting AC in all the rooms for guests’ comfort.
