The lake view was the only good part. The bathroom was moldy, the linen was old and stained, and even the towel had stains. The room smelled musty, and there was no fridge or air conditioning. I felt dirty staying there and won’t return.

The location and view were great, just as hoped. The staff were kind and did their best, but made a lot of mistakes with our evening meal. It showed they need more training and a better understanding of customer service.

The rooms are large, clean, and nice, and the view is good. You can walk to the temple and nearby restaurants. Recommended.

We stayed in a spacious room with two beds on the second floor, and the lake view was great. The weather was good during our visit, so we could see the scenery clearly right through sunset. The hotel is well located by Lake Bedugul. Outside gets quite dark at night, with little visibility around the area, as is typical in Bali. There’s no dinner at the hotel, so we went to a side street for food, but places there are only open until about 9pm. A big mosque is nearby, which is unusual in Bali and convenient for Muslim guests who want to pray. The bell boy is available until 8pm. We checked out early to head to Singaraja, and reception helpfully prepared breakfast to take away. There are only a limited number of rooms with single beds. We had a nice stay, and arriving in the early afternoon lets you enjoy the view and good weather.
