The Joglo Beratan

Our Soto cost 45k and was such a letdown 😭 It had one bad slice of egg, just three small pieces of chicken, and white noodles. The rice came with damp rice crackers. What a shame.

The staff were super friendly, and I appreciated the complimentary water, toiletries, and fast Wi-Fi. My room was clean and cozy, just as described, and even better in person. I had an incredible stay.

The staff were kind and had a familiar feel, the kitchen was good, and the prices were in the low to medium range. There was also good bike parking. The old jogloo buildings on the left are beautiful and truly Balinese, though they need some maintenance. For just one night, the area felt comfortable and quiet, despite the cold for Bali. I arrived casually, and my first impression was good. It's right in front of the lake, and honestly, the view makes up for the issues. Suggested.

We had a memorable, relaxing stay here, with cool air, a quiet atmosphere, and beautiful natural scenery. The Joglo design has a distinctive, elegant traditional feel, while the facilities are still comfortable and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure guests felt cared for. I’d definitely return, and recommend it to anyone after a peaceful, authentic stay in Bali.
