Prima Orchard by OYO Rooms

The room was spacious and quite cheap, with hot water and decent Wi-Fi through wifi.id. The receptionist was helpful enough. The pool looked nice, though I couldn’t use it because I was on my period. Nearby, there’s good nasi uduk and seafood at night, plus a bank, Indomaret, aw, laundry and a Padang restaurant. The supplied amenities were one towel, one soap, one toothbrush set and a bottle of very diluted shampoo, but I’ve seen that at other OYO places and brought my own share. One side of the twin bed was clean, but the other had long and short hairs and black dust. I’m sure it had been used and not cleaned properly. I didn’t look closely everywhere, but I suspect the floor and other areas weren’t very clean either. The main door was nearly broken and took a trick to open, while the bathroom door was completely broken and wouldn’t lock. Please fix the doors and improve the cleanliness. Even a bit of wood or tape to keep the bathroom door closed would help.

From the entrance to the rooms, the place was extremely dirty. I even found a dead cockroach on my room floor. The entrance is a long way in, with no sign from the main road, and the map pin is wrong, so my driver got lost and confused before we asked around and found it. I was thinking of extending my stay, but that doesn’t seem like a good idea.

For what they charge, the service and facilities aren’t worth it. There are no amenities, just one towel that looks like it’s been used for ages, and I couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi. There’s no desk phone to call reception when you need something, either. It feels like they hand over the key and say, “That’s all you can afford? See you at checkout, when we’ll return your ID card.” It’s the kind of hotel where that’s all the service you get.

A great spot to unwind and stay after a busy day.
