The restaurant food tasted good, but I can’t recommend this hotel. Parking for cars is very limited, so we had to leave ours behind the hotel on a public road. In the rain, that would be difficult. We came back late the next day and found the room hadn’t been cleaned or maintained. When I complained at reception, a staff member shouted back that it was my fault because their procedure is to clean only if guests ask. Nobody had told us about this. Other hotels clean daily unless you ask them not to, so this was unbelievable. The reception was slow and didn’t take action. There was no smile or welcome, just a room card and directions to the lift. The room’s quality and cleanliness felt dangerous: lots of rust, a broken kettle, stained dirty towels, dust, a dirty bed and floors, a damaged sink, no hot shower water, and a poor bidet. The TV remote often didn’t work either. Definitely not worth it. Just don’t stay here.

It’s a shame because the room is very spacious and must have been beautiful once. Now it feels abandoned and neglected. The strong mold smell was overwhelming and gave me severe headaches, so I couldn’t stay for the two nights I’d booked. The place has potential, but the maintenance and air quality need urgent attention.

The hotel looks beautiful and the room is huge, but there’s old, broken stuff all over. The air conditioner made a disturbing siren-like noise, and the toilet was cracked and stained. The photos on the booking site haven’t been updated. What they’re selling doesn’t match what they advertised, and that feels like a scam. I hope they improve soon.

The way the team looked after my food needs really touched me. I’m vegetarian and don’t eat eggs or chicken, so I was nervous about finding suitable meals, but they made me a fresh, tasty vegetarian breakfast every morning. The care felt genuine, and every request was met with a smile. 11/10 for the service and hospitality. I stayed at Amaroossa for three nights last week. From arrival, the staff made me feel at home. The place is peaceful and beautiful, and I felt comfortable throughout. It’s a gem, especially for Indian travelers and vegetarians wanting a warm experience abroad. Can’t wait to visit again!

I stayed for three days and two nights. On the second night, from 2am until 5am, somebody kept pounding on the door without stopping. I couldn’t sleep and was really scared. I already reported it to the hotel staff.
