The bathroom had a very strong, unpleasant smell, probably coming from the drain since there was no U-tube. Room spray didn’t help. When I raised it, the host came to check but insisted there was “no smell,” which was frustrating. The bigger issue was that the host entered our room without permission after we had clearly told him not to clean. He only removed one small bag of rubbish and left everything else. I later saw other reviews mentioning money and belongings going missing, which is worrying. The price is very affordable, but I can’t recommend the place because of the smell and the lack of privacy.

I paid for three days but still had to cancel. The rooms stank so badly I couldn’t stay even a minute. Better to avoid them.

The bed was easily the best part, so comfortable, and the small pool was cozy. The owner is incredibly sweet and always ready to help with petrol, bookings and anything else. Lita and her friend made us a simple but filling breakfast every morning. If you want some downtime away from busy Bali, please consider staying here. Bike rentals and laundry are just a short walk away. Thanks for having us, and all the best!

On our last day, money disappeared from my friend’s bag. The owner was indifferent and said he couldn’t help. There are no room safes or cameras. Afterward, I saw this might be a normal occurrence at their hotel, so be careful. We stayed for a week and found most things tolerable until then. The towels weren’t changed at all, and only one was taken away. Breakfast was free, but there were just two options and they were tasteless. I also didn’t like the area, with few decent cafes or spas nearby. I don’t recommend it. Better choose somewhere else.
