Peninsula Beach Resort

The buffet was one of the best I’ve had overseas, with lots of tasty choices. The French toast was my favorite, so good, and the buffet staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. Our room was cleaned early each morning, so by the time I got back around 11am, the bed was made and fresh towels were there. The security staff outside were lovely and accommodating. They always greeted us with smiles and even helped us cross the road safely. Reception was just as welcoming, and the location was great for water sports like jet skiing, donut boats, and banana boats just minutes away behind the hotel. I stayed from 1st-6th March 2026 and had an amazing experience. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I’d definitely stay again and recommend it.

Jasmine and Dimas at the front desk made my first Bali trip feel comfortable from the start. I was traveling alone and felt uneasy at first. Jasmine went out of her way to arrange the Ocean View room I’d requested, and Dimas helped me download Grab, found a charger so I could keep in touch with family in Canada, and arranged someone to help me cross the road safely after I forgot traffic drives on the left. Their care meant a lot on my stressful first night. Nikko Beach Hotel is spotless throughout, from the rooms and lobby to the hallways, restaurant, bar, pool, and beach. My spacious room had lovely Balinese styling, and the elegant lobby was full of local charm. The pristine gardens and beautifully designed pool made the grounds feel magical. Breakfast had a great mix of cuisines, always fresh and delicious. My compliments to the chef, and thanks to Korni, Tutik and Mudita Adi and the rest of the wonderful resto employees. Laundry was affordable and quick, and my clothes came back as good as new. Every request was sorted quickly and met with a warm smile, which made me feel appreciated and welcome. There are plenty of charming restaurants, cafés, and spas nearby, which made things convenient. The whole team, from bell staff and housekeeping to the front desk and restaurant crew, were warm, gracious, and genuinely helpful. I’m so grateful for their care. It made my first visit to Bali unforgettable.

The location is very central, with good places for food and live music both north and south. We tried The Tree, Coco's (across road), New Meads and Happy Buddah several times, all under a five-minute walk from Nikko, and had no issues with food, drinks, or ice. There are also laundry services and convenience stores across the road. We stayed eight nights at Hotel Nikko and really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean and well kept, the beds were big, and ours had a large bathroom with a shower and hot tube. The pool area has a great outlook, restaurant food was great, and all the staff, from security and reception to the bar, dining rooms, and pool, were welcoming and excellent. I’d suggest paying for an ocean or partial ocean view, since one side looks toward an old abandoned, unfinished building. Would stay again.

We came in low season to avoid crowds. There was some rain and drizzle now and then, but not much, and we liked the cooler weather. The grounds had a lovely atmosphere, and breakfast with a beach view was a treat. The buffet was fine, and the beach and sea were cleaned up nicely. There are plenty of eateries and massage places within walking distance on the main road. The room was spacious with a small jacuzzi in the bathroom, strong Wi-Fi, and a comfy bed. The pillow was a bit too thick for me. The pool is right by the beach, the gym has enough equipment and looks out over the pool, and I really enjoyed the full body massage. I’d recommend it and do it again. Easily five stars.
