Villa DK - Bali

The house itself was comfortable, clean enough, and had amenities that were generally in good condition. But confusion with Donny made the stay frustrating, especially around the charges. The website said extra amenities and services were included, yet we were charged for everything. That mismatch and the management's poor communication overshadowed what was otherwise a decent house. I hope they improve their clarity and transparency.

The staff were always around and ready to help, especially Eddy and Donny, who were so welcoming and clearly cared about their work. Eddy was also a really good driver. The villa itself was clean, luxurious, and peaceful, in a very quiet neighborhood. Thanks again, and we hope to see you in the future :)

We like privacy and listening to music on holiday, but we couldn't do that here. There was also a 1,500,000 rpd cash bond that wasn't mentioned in the description. On arrival, we felt uncomfortable seeing that staff lived in a tiny, dirty room attached to the front of the house, with a door into the kitchen. The place is at the end of a long, narrow road packed with rubbish. Worst of all, we saw an old man out front hitting dogs with a machete-type instrument. It affected us badly, and when Donnie the manager said “this is fine,” it absolutely wasn't. Disgusting. Donnie is a schemer, be careful.

The team were kind and very helpful, and the location worked fine with a driver or rental, though it's a little out of the way. The villa didn't feel as luxurious as we'd expected. During our three-night stay, three ACs lost water, and a few things could have used repairs.
