Nirjhara

This was our third stay, and the place is still as beautiful as ever. We've always loved it. This time, though, it seemed like creating influencer content came before guest privacy. Drones flew every day, people filmed around the pool and other shared areas, and photos were being taken by the gym and spa as I came out. That took away from the discretion and sense of exclusivity we'd appreciated on previous visits. I hope the hotel will rethink how it manages content creation and its drone policy. It already has plenty of genuinely positive reviews, so paying guests' experience should stay the priority.

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas, and this is a proper five star hotel, maybe even six. The setting is gorgeous, with a roaring waterfall, beautiful gardens, and lots of local wildlife. It really is a place to relax, though there are plenty of activities if you want them. Everything felt top tier: the architecture, room, facilities, food, staff, pool, spa, cinema, and more. We ate at the hotel the whole time because the menu was varied and interesting, and the food was excellent. They can cater for GF, DF, NF, and Vegan diets with delicious options. Our villa, number 3, was stunning, secluded, quiet, and completely private. The spa was insanely good, and we had more treatments than we ever have during a stay. Every member of staff was kind and sweet, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We'll be back!

The villa and our own pool made it easy to spend quiet, private time together, though we also loved the beautiful infinity pool. We arranged a private car and guide through the hotel to visit the Monkey Forest and waterfalls, and the trip was smooth, thoughtful, and memorable. The whole stay felt tranquil and serene, surrounded by lush vegetation, just as you'd expect from Nirjhara's name and its natural waterfall setting. The spa was one of the best we've experienced, with nearly four hours of facial and body treatments that ended in an excellent Balinese massage. The restaurant was consistently good, from breakfast to its refined lunch and dinner menu. We also booked the private cinema for just the two of us and picked our own film, a lovely surprise. Thanks to Mr. Alejandro Rueda and the team for being so warm and professional. We'll definitely return.

We spent four nights at Nirjhara Hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was comfortable and well appointed, with a small plunge pool. We liked relaxing on its deck, though we preferred the quiet main pool and didn't use the plunge pool. The staff there brought us water and snacks. The restaurant had so many good choices that we never got bored, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all really good. We also enjoyed two hotel excursions. One took us around the Tabanon area to see temples and nearby sites; the other was the Hills of Tabanon, which we added to our drive to our next hotel in Munduk. We had the same guide both times. He was friendly, knew a lot, and patiently answered our questions. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout. I had a good pedicure and massage at the spa, and also enjoyed one of the yoga classes. I highly recommend this hotel.
