I left feeling completely refreshed. It’s such a calm and cozy place, with quiet surroundings. A good pick if you’re looking for some peace and comfort.

The location is convenient, near mosques, grocery stores, and restaurants. The bed and toilet were clean, but the toilet heater didn’t work at all, and the power outlet wasn’t in good condition. The mattress cover and pillow also smelled bad. I’d suggest the motel provide an electric kettle, bottled mineral water, and an iron with an ironing board.

I had to find somewhere else to stay, and luckily Mikie Resort had a room available. I asked for a refund, but they never got back to me. While I was there for 20 minutes, the electricity tripped twice. The room had a musty smell, and the floor felt a bit sticky. I wasn’t sure if it had been vacant for a long time. The bed was slightly cracked, though the linens were clean, and lots of insects were flying around. There was no netting on the windows to keep them out. The room lacked basic shower facilities: the toilet flush, sink tap, and shower head didn’t work. There were no towels or hot water, and I would have had to tell reception if I wanted hot water.

There’s a large parking area and a masjid nearby, but lots of wild dogs around. The electricity may suddenly go out because the owner forgot to top up the rented power credit.
