The quiet at night makes it easy to sleep, and it gets so cold that even the floor feels freezing. There's no air conditioning, but you really don't need it. The TV is a different story, most channels are too fuzzy to watch.

You get to enjoy Berastagi's cool air at an affordable family villa. I'd recommend it.

I paid 297,500 rupiah per night. The booking site listed air conditioning and a refrigerator, but neither was available in any room. I complained and tried to leave, though they said a full refund wasn't possible because the site had taken a commission. They did give me juice at a cafe, and we settled things that way. The area is cool, so air conditioning wasn't really needed, and the room became comfortable once I got used to it. Wi-Fi, though, was close to unusable.

The place is comfortable and the staff are friendly, so it works well for families. After checking twice, I found booking directly was cheaper than using the app.
