Villa Puri Nirwana

The food at the villa was better than what we had at the five-star restaurants we visited. I have dietary restrictions, and the chef made every meal low FODMAP for everyone, so no one had to miss out on flavor. The full-time kitchen, cleaning, and security staff were friendly, attentive, and there whenever we needed them. The rooms were tidied each day and the gardens were immaculate. I’m usually wary of Bali villas because experiences can be hit or miss, but Puri Nirwana went well beyond what I expected. We loved our stay and are already thinking about returning. It is quite secluded, which is why I rated the location four stars, but it’s ideal if you want to get away from the crowds. Sanur is about 25 minutes away by car. Get a group together and go!

We wanted somewhere peaceful, and the quiet surroundings suited us perfectly. Sanur is a 25-minute drive, we took a day trip to Ubud, and Bali Safari is close by and good for families. Local neighbors run a transfer service with new, clean, air-conditioned cars. We used them throughout the stay and found it good value. The meals were another highlight. Riska made fresh breakfasts every day, with fruit, omelettes, açai bowls, and pastries. We hired freelance chef Ayu for dinner each night, and the food was excellent value compared with eating out. Guests said they were eating better and feeling great. Most of our group also enjoyed the many treatments at the traditional Balinese Spa Centre on the property. Gusti, Riska, and the rest of the team were attentive, with security and grounds staff also helping make the stay better. Villa Puri Nirwana is a beautiful, generously sized home with excellent hospitality and a friendly team. It gave us memories we’ll keep for a lifetime, and it’ll be our first choice and top recommendation in Bali.

We held our wedding here and everyone was impressed. The staff were wonderful, the villa’s chef made great food, and that pool is hard to beat. I’d love to come back.

I was here as a wedding guest, so I can’t comment on the rooms or suites. But the other spaces were unbelievable. The grounds, beach, pool, open media rooms, and living areas were all richly furnished and decorated with lavish artwork.
