The AC was quite cold and the room itself was spacious, but that didn’t make up for everything else. The bathroom was very dirty, the TV didn’t work, and the bed was so hard I woke up sore instead of rested. It wasn’t soundproof, so it got really noisy when people came back late, opened doors, or chatted. They only gave two tiny bottles of mineral water, which didn’t feel worth the 140k price. Check-in was confusing too: my calls and messages to the phone number went unanswered, and I waited a long time. I’ve tried it once and won’t return.

I found this homestay listed on several apps at low prices, around 60 thousand on oy* travel**** agod*. When I arrived, it was empty, and nobody came out even though the instructions said to ring the bell. I could see lots of flip-flops and thought there were people inside. I messaged on WhatsApp and was told the price would have to go up to 100 to 200 per room if I didn’t want a refund. The refund option said that if requested, our money would be forfeited and still go to the hotel owner. I asked for help but got no response. It was a terrible experience, and it felt fraudulent.

Honestly, I’d never stay here again. I was disappointed after paying more and still feeling let down. If you book through an app like trav, ago, or another one, they may tell you the listed price is wrong and refuse a refund, leaving you to lose the money or pay extra. My advice to management is to be honest and set the right price from the start, so the business can earn better.

There’s no guard on duty, and the place is at the end of an alley. I booked through oYo for IDR 145,000 per room. It’s really a monthly boarding house that also rents rooms like a hotel.
