The room was clean, the pillows were comfortable, and the staff were friendly, but the executive room still had the same problems as last year. I stayed two nights over Eid, when the room cost twice as much, and the AC barely cooled unless it had been running for hours. We had to leave it on the whole stay. The sheets were stained, the warm water didn't work, and the bathroom smelled like sewage the entire time. Breakfast ran from 06.30 to 09.00, but when I came down at 8.30 one morning, there was only rice, noodles, vegetables, and what was called chicken with batter. It was mostly batter, with maybe 10% chicken. The hotel was full and charging double, yet there wasn't enough food for everyone. What a joke. I'm not coming back.

Check-in and checkout were easy, though you need ID. Breakfast was actually nice, with nasi goreng and Indonesian-style salad with Pecel sauce. For a two-star hotel, it was very clean overall, even though there were spots on the bed, a bit of standing water in the shower, and marks on the wall. My Saturday night was hard to sleep through, though, because the neighbors were very loud and even played music at 5 am.

The staff were friendly, and the hotel is close to the train station and Alon alon downtown. We booked two rooms for two nights with family and two kids, one Super Executive and one Executive. The room names set my expectations too high, since they looked like standard rooms at other hotels. Cleanliness could also be better, especially under the bed, where I found lots of dust, tissue, and plastic.

Being near the train station makes transfers easy. For a family hotel in Blitar, it offers good value at a great price.

The staff were good, and both the Wi-Fi and hot water worked fine. It's cheap and close to the station, but the shower was noisy and didn't spread the water well. There should also be more extended outlets. I didn't find a refund system for the deposit like at other hotels. The price does match the quality.
