Quiet despite being right in the town center, and the price is low. It’s good, though there isn’t a store nearby.

I stay here regularly because it’s cheap, comfortable, and clean, and I like coming back. But I feel bad for the security staff. They have to stand around for ages in the cold at night, with no station where they can work more comfortably. Guests drive through the parking area past them while they sit on the garage floor. That doesn’t seem humane, especially when they’re so loyal to the hotel. Please give the security team a bit more attention. It’s sad to see them treated this way. Thank you.

The concierge service was okay, and you can reach them on WhatsApp. I’d recommend the Deluxe room. It may cost more, but the quality is 1000 times better than the Superior. You don’t need to log in to use Netflix, and the internet works well in Deluxe. In Superior, I couldn’t connect at all.

The room itself felt new, with a simple design, lots of charging ports, and the basics covered. The bed was clean and comfortable, the AC worked well, and the smart TV was handy. My water heater only managed lukewarm water, though the one in the room next door worked fine, so check yours after arrival. The rooms were clean, but it’s worth checking the sheets and towels for any leftover marks right away. Staff ask guests to keep things clean and stain free, explain the rules, and have you sign a form. We thought that was fair. SANS is in Surya Kencana, near STIE Kesatuan and Rangga gading street, where there are food stalls. The street is narrow and one way, so coming via Gang Besi is better, especially by car. There’s plenty of parking for cars and motorbikes. It’s a handy spot for walking around Surya Kencana for meals, and Kebun Raya is about a 10 minute walk away. Everyone we dealt with, from the front desk and customer service to security, was friendly and helpful. There’s a coffeeshop right next to SANS, a decent place to wait for check-in or get some laptop work done. I found the coffee a bit too sweet. There’s also a small terrace with sofas where you can smoke or relax. A kettle is shared near the front desk rather than being in every room, which was fine by me. You can hear some sounds from outside, and sounds from your room may carry out too. It wasn’t very noisy on the night we stayed, so it didn’t bother me much. We really enjoyed our stay at SANS hotel 👍 and hope to come back another night and see what’s improved.
