Breakfast was quite good, and I liked having a Circle K near the lobby gate. The room was pretty clean, though the towel I got had some bad stains. Thank you.

The room is small, but the location in the city center makes it easy to go out. There are lots of places to visit on foot.

There are good cafes, restaurants, and coffee shops around the hotel, and Botani Mall is about a 20-minute walk away. The Pajajaran street location makes it easy to get around Bogor. We liked the size of our deluxe room, but the hotel needs more maintenance. The toilet sink was tiny, and motorcycle noise from outside came through strongly at night, even from our room on the 9th floor. I hope they can fix the windows to keep the sound out better.

The room looked clean when I stayed at the hotel yesterday, but the door lock only worked on the top part and wouldn’t lock properly. I went down to the lobby to complain, and they told me all the rooms had the same issue. That made me uneasy. I went back and contacted a trip.com travel agent. They thought it was strange that nobody had been notified, contacted the hotel, and asked me to wait. No one came. After an hour, I told the agent I’d been waiting and felt neglected, so they contacted the hotel again. Someone arrived a few minutes later and showed me another room, but its lock didn’t work properly either. They apologized. Since it was late, I couldn’t move to another hotel, so I spoke to the travel agent again. They advised me to put heavy things in front of and beside the door, so I wedged a chair and my bag against it. The travel agents were very helpful, and I asked them to warn future guests about the problem too. I felt a bit safer with the chair and my things blocking the door, but I hope the hotel fixes this as soon as possible for everyone’s safety and tells guests about it beforehand. Under the Consumer Protection Law (UU No. 8/1999), guests are entitled to facilities that work properly and safely, and that services are fit for their intended use. Government Regulation 67/1996 (Pasal 62 Ayat 2) makes the hotel operator legally responsible for guest safety and security on the premises. Even if all the locks have this flaw, the hotel must fix it or offer an alternative that meets basic safety standards.
