The setting inside the Sintuk golf area is a plus, but I wouldn't stay at Hotel Bintang Sintuk again unless some basic problems are fixed. The room was dirty and felt more like an old, neglected guest house. Its bathroom fittings looked extremely dated, and the plugs and switches were in terrible shape, with some tucked behind the nightstand in an unsafe, inconvenient spot. The noisy air conditioning also made sleeping difficult, and the room didn't match the polished image suggested by the golf course and pool. Breakfast was another letdown: very little variety, no juice on the buffet unless you ordered it, and only melon and watermelon, which didn't look fresh or well checked. The location gives the hotel potential, but cleanliness, bathrooms, electrical fixtures, and breakfast all need serious attention. I can't recommend it in its current condition.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. The room itself was roomy, but badly in need of an upgrade. The chairs and sheets were stained, and the towel was especially disappointing. For what I paid, I expected much better condition.

There isn't a gym, and the price feels far too high for what the hotel provides. The pool was dirty, and the place generally felt filthy. My bathroom was old and dirty, and the towels were worn with stains. The AC roared like an aircraft, while the window wouldn't close all the way, so outside noise came in too. After a night shift, I could barely sleep.

The location is quite nice, and this is probably the biggest full-service hotel in town, with a golf course, tennis court, pool, and more. Still, I don't think the price is justified. Everything feels old, and not everyone staying there will use all those facilities.

It's a quiet spot to rest, though getting food outside the restaurant means going a bit farther from the city. A queen bed would make this a better room choice than the double or twin setup. The breakfast menu could use an upgrade, and the restaurant service could be quicker.
