Yugo, the owner, was wonderful and even brought tomatoes and cucumbers for breakfast when I asked. The open space with its coffee and tea corner, garden porch, and wood panels throughout the house made it feel lovely. This is a simple, traditional Javanese homestay in a field, 3 km from Borobudur temple. It’s clean and well cared for, though not spotless, and the rooms are basic. The neighbors’ chickens wander around freely and get lively for hours early in the morning, so bring good earplugs. I don’t have words for how great the place was. If you want a traditional homestay, you won’t regret staying here.

After our long bicycle ride, Fendi offered to get us some food, set the table, and wouldn’t let us wash the dishes. Fendi and Judo looked after us so well and shared lots of information about the area. The place is quiet and peaceful, and convenient for visiting the nearby temples. Thanks so much!

You can see Borobudur in the distance from this clean countryside spot, which is peaceful yet still close to town. They also offer mountain bikes. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it’s a great base for visiting the Borobudur area. Stay here, you won’t regret it!

Fendi was incredibly helpful. He arranged our lunch and dinner, took us to the temple at 4:30am, and helped us with the bus to Jakarta. We couldn’t have asked for better, thanks to him. The room was simple but clean, and we slept well. There’s hot water in the bathroom, plus free coffee, tea, and fresh water. For this price, there’s no hesitation in choosing this place. It deserves 6 stars!!

We were glad to spend three nights here. The people spoke English very well, so we could ask about anything, including good places to visit nearby. They had tasty breakfast, free coffee and tea anytime, laundry, and a fridge we could use. Nothing was a problem for them. An unbelievably lovely place, with unbelievably kind staff. It was a pleasure.
