The view of Menoreh Hills is the best, and the staff’s hospitality was perfect. For the first time, a hotel stay really felt like being at home. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Magelang.

I was happy with my enjoyable two-night stay and would recommend Moritz Hill hotel - Borobudur to friends and family. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the amenities were the best. The room was quite good too. My one suggestion for management is to improve breakfast, which is the only thing that stopped me from giving five stars. The hotel is in the Borobudur temple neighborhood. Getting there takes a few turns, but it’s easy to find if you follow Google Maps. The bamboo structure on the lobby facade looks artistic, and behind the hotel there’s an amazing, picturesque mountain view. The amenities feel designed to pamper guests, but I’ll leave you to experience them yourself.

We’ve just checked in, all nine of us, and I already wanted to write a review. We’ve visited the Borobudur area many times and are really happy to have found this newly built place. The setting is beautiful, with a glass pool, a relaxing atmosphere, and a nice hill view. I love the cute bedroom and shower. Service has been good so far, and I’ll update after trying breakfast. It’s also very close to the Borobudur Temple 🫶.
