There were only two people in the kitchen, and they also had to serve tables and take payments. I felt bad for the staff. We waited 45 minutes for our meal, and from the past reviews I read, this seems to happen often.

The view of Borobudur temple and Merapi volcano from the upstairs balcony is lovely, and the place is clean with reasonable room prices. It’s only a five-minute walk to the temple entrance. This homestay and cafe brings together art, a gallery, and a place to stay. It feels unique and artistic, with a traditional Javanese Joglo house as the lobby. You can really feel the atmosphere of Java island. No doubt I’d come and stay there.

The room was actually nice, and you can share it with friends, but it’s a little expensive for one night. The Indonesian pop culture interior has statues everywhere, which feels a bit creepy. Nice GH btw 👍👍👍
