The clean bedroom and bathroom, friendly guard, and free coffee or tea made this a good fit for me. Parking is roomy and unfenced, so you can come and go whenever; the homestay village area feels safe. Weekday prices are fairly low, though that doesn't apply over Christmas, New Year, or Eid. I'll stay here again if official work brings me to Borobudur.

You get free water, hot water for drinking, and drinks you can make yourself, so bring your own soap and shampoo. The bathroom was a little dirty, but I could live with it. There are free snacks and tea and coffee, plus a water dispenser. You can borrow plates, spoons, and glasses from the kitchen, and there's a table and chairs outside the room for guests to use. The owner is friendly, the place is clean, and there's hot water. The price is affordable and the service is great. Highly recommend 👍

Everything here is self-service, and the service matches the low price, so don't expect a hotel or guesthouse experience. It's right behind the Borobudur temple site, and for what it costs, I think it's worth it.
