The price through the Agoda app was reasonable, and the location was fine. I stayed three days, though, and the hotel felt a bit dated. I’m a light sleeper, and staff talking loudly kept me up late at night, sometimes until 3:00 AM. I also had to switch rooms. There were bathroom issues, with leaking water, a bad smell, and hair on the floor, and the room needed dusting. 🙈😌 Agoda says the hotel speaks English and Indonesian, but that isn’t true. They only speak Bahasa.

I ended up with a modern, secure roof, and the replacement went smoothly. The staff explained all the technical details clearly and openly.

I stayed for one night, and it was an okay experience. The staff were nice and service was good, but a wedding at the convention hall meant we couldn't order food because, they said, all the staff were busy. Luckily, there was a padang restaurant nearby, so I got padang rice there. A pecel lele stand beside the hotel is also open at night, so finding food wasn't a worry.
6/10
The room was clean, comfortable, nice, and spacious, but there was no hot water in the shower or tissue. Breakfast was a little disappointing. If you arrive late, there may be nothing left. Walking to the nearest Alfamart or Indomaret takes quite a while. Also, the guidebook doesn't explain how to call another room.
8/10
For a cheap hotel, it’s good enough. Breakfast was delicious, and the extra bed came with an extra breakfast too. It’s easy to find food around the hotel.
