Villa Vastu

The rooms are lovely, especially the master one, and the garden and swimming pool are great. Everything around Villa Vastu near Ubud is beautiful. Our time there felt like a little taste of Eden. I'd really recommend it for a family or a group of friends wanting a beautiful place to enjoy together.

The rooms had plenty of space and the beds were really comfortable. I also liked the clean, modern design throughout the villa. It was such a peaceful, comfortable stay. I loved the place and would definitely come again.

The pool was clean and clear, with a lovely view of Ubud. We had a really enjoyable stay as a family, and the villa's peaceful setting was just what we wanted. The rooms felt cozy and comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and had all the amenities we needed. Pak Tara and the rest of the staff greeted us with smiles and were happy to help with anything. Highly recommended for a villa in Ubud.

The cats were the highlight for us. They liked hanging around the dining table and behaved so well that we ended up buying them cat food. We also appreciated how hard the staff worked to keep the villa clean, despite the insects and the lizard droppings, especially at night. Compared with similar places we've stayed, this one was clean. It's a beautiful villa, and the quiet setting, birdsong, and fresh air helped us unwind. The place is literally in the middle of fields, a long way from the crowded parts of the island. That distance made it hard to find food on our first night. The closest Go-Food merchant was 10kms away, and we gave the driver a generous tip for the very long trip back to the crowded area. The breakfast could use some work. There was only plain white toast and fruit, and eggs cost extra. Lunch had to be ordered the day before, so we couldn't add to or change the menu that day, which was a bummer. Some insect repellent would help too. Still, it was a serene spot for a quiet staycation with your partner or a few days away from a busy life. This place deserves more recognition.
