Parkside Nuansa Maninjau Resort

Maybe the hard-to-reach location is why it feels so deserted, but I loved it here and wish more people would come. The large swimming pool is right in front of my room, with fascinating scenery all around. Our honeymoon deluxe room had a king-size bed, a living room with a TV, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The rooms are spacious and the scenery is beautiful. I don't know why so few people visit. 🥰🥰🥰

We’ve come to nuansa almost every lebaran, but the management keeps getting worse. This time the rooms were dirty and the bathrooms smelled. We paid a fair amount expecting something worth the money, and it was a real disappointment. The scenery is the only selling point, but poor hotel management can ruin your vacation.

The room was standard, nothing special, but fine for a short stop. I could see Lake Maninjau from outside the hotel. The food selection and portions were limited, and the taste didn't suit me as a traveler from outside the island. We stayed one night with dinner and breakfast included. The location is great if you're planning to explore Lake Maninjau and Puncak Lawang in the morning.

Choosing a Pool view room made for a great stay. The staff seemed unable to speak English and were still awkward with online bookings. We ran into a problem booking through Agoda, though they said it wouldn't be an issue if we booked with Traveloka.
