The plunge pool was a great place to cool off while enjoying the scenery, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Barong Cafe Bungalow sits on a hillside with beautiful ocean views, about a 10-minute drive from busy Amed Center. The road there is bumpy, but I thought the trip was worth it. Check-in was easy, and my room had a lovely ocean view, a spacious bed and bathroom, and a desk where I could work. A peaceful little getaway, and I'd stay again.

I checked out two days early and didn't even ask for a refund because staying there was so uncomfortable. The room wasn't clean, nearly everything was broken, and the place looked nothing like the newer rooms in the pictures. It felt like management had given up. The only reason I'm giving two stars is the very low price. Don't trust the booking site photos.

A quiet, pleasant place with kind and friendly staff. The pool was clean and looked pretty with its lights on at night. Breakfast was okay, though there weren't many choices. My room was good, but some of the things in it were old. I enjoyed my stay. Thanks for the hospitality.

The bungalows are spacious, clean and beautiful, with private balconies set in well-kept gardens. The pool is clean, and the cafe looked spotless, though I haven't tried it. It's close to the nicest beach around. Just know it's on a hill, so there are stairs to climb to reach the bungalow. Such good value, I'd highly recommend it.

Our budget room was spacious and had air conditioning, a hot shower and a TV. The pool was nice, with beautiful views. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast wasn't very good, but otherwise we had no complaints.
