Bintang Beach Villas

A lovely hotel right by the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and ready to help. The beach was really nice for a morning swim, and you can rent a snorkel nearby. I’d recommend it to others.

We came back every day to watch the sunrise from the beautiful private beach. The hotel is peaceful and lovely, and the staff are kind and friendly, with very good service. Breakfast is simple, but we enjoyed it all. One evening a guitarist and singer played at the hotel, and it felt like a wonderful, friendly night among friends. Manager Adi speaks English very well and was supportive, helping with requests and our plans for the other two days of the trip. The hospitality really stands out. I’d recommend the place to anyone after somewhere quiet, and we’ll definitely return.

The one change I’d suggest is adding fans to the restaurant area, which gets pretty hot. Otherwise, it’s a lovely spot for quiet time, the beach, pool, and snorkelling. Our clean room was serviced every day, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel sits right on the beach, so you can take a sunrise walk or swim and snorkel whenever you like. It was a plus that there weren’t any boats parked on the sand in front. The reef is right out front. To the right, there’s a sandy seagrass area where we spotted turtles, and farther along near the end of the bay the coral gets even nicer, with lots of tropical fish. There are some basic restaurants and warungs within walking distance. It’s a long way from Amed’s main village and its many restaurants and cafes, which also means it’s much quieter.
