Double One Villas

The beach frontage was the only highlight. Maintenance was poor: we couldn't even close either the room door or the bathroom door, and we barely saw staff around the property. We were told checkout was at 11:30, then asked to leave before 11. The service was the worst we've had on our family trips around Bali. One male staff member by the pool didn't even say hello or smile, which felt strange. They need to train the whole staff and start maintaining the place.

It was okay, nothing special. For about $25 AUD a night, you get what you pay for. The rooms felt tired, and the lamp and bedding were falling apart. The pool was the best part, right by the beach.

Really good for the price, and I enjoyed my stay. The rooms were good, and it was easy to rent bikes and do laundry there. The balcony was super chill, with an ocean view, and the pool right in front of the water was beautiful.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly and was quiet, and I could hear the ocean all day and night. But the pictures are deceiving. This place was run down and overrated, and for what I paid for the most expensive villa, it felt like a rip-off. I'm used to budget accommodation, but I regret staying here and would go elsewhere. The cupboards were moldy, some power outlets didn't work, so I had to charge everything in the bathroom, and the place wasn't entirely clean. I saw the mattress and wish I hadn't. There was no in-room safe. Empty bottles were by the pool and in the garden when I arrived, and were still there when I left five days later. All the pool tiles along the sides had been removed, leaving eroding concrete exposed. Breakfast was bland and limited, with no condiments, so eat elsewhere. Light from the hotel next door came into the room around the clock through thin, non-blackout curtains. They tried to overcharge me at checkout and got caught. Then they asked me to leave a good review. I can only give an honest one.
