Jepun Bali Villas

We were the only guests while we were there, so it felt like having our own private paradise. Scott was incredibly responsive and helpful. Sunni, Moodi and Juni welcomed us each day with warm smiles, cooked delicious meals, and kept our villa tidy and comfortable. August, Comang and Made took meticulous care of the property, looked after our safety, and drove us to all the magical places we’ll remember forever. The bungalows, main house, grounds, and pool were beautiful, clean, distinctive, and well looked after. I expected more bugs, but thankfully there weren’t many. We had a fantastic vacation and would love to come back. The team were top notch, helpful, and very accommodating from the booking with Scott through checkout. They clearly wanted us to enjoy ourselves. The food they made was outstanding, and we loved the massages on the bed overlooking the grounds, pool, and ocean. Our driver was flexible and informative, taking us wherever we wanted, and the scuba master shared great local dive spots. We highly recommend it.

We won this stay in a fundraiser bid for Girls on the Run, and it was simply magnificent. The staff went above and beyond with meals, rides, and suggestions for trips and restaurants. The rooms are roomy and air conditioned. We especially enjoyed having both an indoor shower and an outdoor one. Be sure to take the jukung boat for fishing and snorkeling.

The one-bedroom villa worked perfectly for us, with air conditioning, a gorgeous indoor shower, and a roomy private outdoor shower. Sunny, Juni, Sue, and drivers Koman and Made were friendly and responsive, and the food was great, made to order with real care. Amed itself has lovely views, friendly people, good restaurants, and some of the best diving and snorkeling I’ve seen anywhere. Right in front of the resort, the shallow-water snorkeling is incredible. The dive sites are varied, with a wall, a WWII shipwreck, a field of hundreds of garden eels, barracuda schools, and even turtles and dolphins. When we weren’t in the water, we visited temples, rice terraces, and waterfalls, or took in the scenery and sunsets. One evening the staff arranged a private sunset cruise on a large boat. There was plenty of room, a comfortable ride, fun music, and beautiful coastline views. Our Bali trip was a special, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Jepun Bali Villas is a must-stay, and I highly recommend it.
