I've come back many times, on my own and with family, because I love this cozy place. Even in the rain, you can settle into the restaurant right on the beach and get some nice food. The rooms are comfortable and have AC. Internet is usually good; when it wasn't one time, they gave me an extra router. The staff are polite and friendly, and I really appreciate them. You can walk to the lotus pond, cafes, restaurants and spas from here. One thing that's affecting the area isn't the hotel's fault: the government decided to change Candidasa's shoreline and build a long walking path like the one in Sanur. It will take time. For now, the beaches in Candidasa are really noisy, and swimming or snorkeling isn't as pleasant as it used to be. I hope the work finishes soon.

I liked seeing so many locals enjoying the beach, with very few tourists around. After visiting the Gili Islands, it was especially nice to hang out with local people and enjoy their company. The food is very good and the view is even better. It's a nice spot for a dip, though the water isn't very calm. The breakwater helps, but the current and waves can still be rough, so keep an eye on your kids.

We stopped for lunch, not a stay, so I can't comment on the rooms. The setting is stunning, much nicer than eating by the road, and the food was sensational. We like traditional food, and they serve it all. Definitely worth checking out, highly recommended.

The food was fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced. With its ocean view and laid-back atmosphere, the restaurant is a lovely place to eat. The staff were friendly, smiling and always willing to help. A real hidden gem by the beach at Puri Pandan!
