Villa Kaniksa

The BBQ dinner was perfect, and the villa is spotless and very well maintained. Beautiful place, great crew and chef. Highly recommend it for families with kids!

The only downside is the rough access to the property. Once you're in, everything is great. We had a fantastic week at Villa Kaniksa in Candidasa and were sorry to leave. The facilities were excellent, and the staff looked after us so well with really impressive meals. My wife had initially been worried about having people around, but they were unobtrusive, polite, professional and friendly. Be sure to book dinner at Vincent's restaurant, about a five minute walk from the villa. It's excellent, with live jazz on Monday, Thursday or Saturday evenings. We had a wonderful holiday.

The villa sits right on the waterfront, so we enjoyed swimming in both the ocean and the pool. Our group had a perfect setup, with separate rooms for everyone and lovely communal spaces and gardens to enjoy together. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the friendly, helpful staff cooked delicious meals. We loved our stay at Villa Kaniksa and would definitely come back.

A very cozy villa with a great view, and the staff are helpful and provide good service. It could have been five stars if the issues were sorted out. The air conditioning wasn't cold enough, so the room stayed warm and it was hard to sleep, especially with the mosquito net over the bed. The jacuzzi wasn't working. Breakfast was disappointing: the noodles were too salty, though the fried rice was tasty. There were very few ingredients, and we had to ask for eggs to be added. The portions were so small that we needed bread to fill up. The doors wouldn't lock, and outside the villa was messy and completely dark after sunset, so we didn't want to go out or come back late. The in-house meals were average and overpriced. There were power cuts several times. The airport transfer vehicle they arranged was full of cockroaches, and we waited about two hours for a replacement.
