D Tunjung Resort & Spa

The views are beautiful, and the room I ended up in was gorgeous. I’m happy because they moved me after I complained several times about the Wi-Fi. Breakfast isn’t included, but you can pay 50k for it there. There’s a little beach next to the resort, a pond, and an ATM, with lots of restaurants nearby.

The outside looked beautiful, but bed bugs meant we had to pack up and leave almost right away. The buildings are very old, the electrical outlets are shocking, half hanging out of the wall and not working. The bathroom wasn’t well maintained, and neither were the interior walls and paint. Water from the shower, sink, and toilet smelled really bad, too.

It’s quiet, right on the waterfront, and the rooms have views. There’s a good pool, and the rates are dirt cheap. But the room and bathroom were falling apart, with absolutely no maintenance and nobody looking after the property. The restaurant food was less than basic. If you can accept all that, it’s a great place. You get what you pay for.

A nice place in a great spot to watch people out on the ocean. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was made up each day, and I had no complaints about that. The outdoor bathroom is an interesting touch. The place is a little quirky and tired, and I wasn’t sure how well maintained the pool was since I didn’t see the pump running or anyone taking care of it.
