808 Residence

I liked the place, though it felt kind of pricey. The three pools were awesome, and breakfast tasted good, even if the portion was really small. Our family room had three rooms inside, but we only got one scooter, which was annoying. The rooms were okay. For that price, there are nicer places, so I'm not sure I'd stay again.

The beach is literally just down the road, and Serenity for vegans is ten seconds away next door. The restaurant was closed while I was there, but that didn't really matter. It's a lovely little place near the ocean, and the staff were delighted to help with anything and made me feel welcome straight away. I'd recommend the ROSE room, which is big, with a high ceiling and a spacious bath with local sgoeer products. Laundry is cheap here, so there's no need to pay an outside place.

The photos were misleading, and the hotel has changed a lot. It was unhygienic and dangerous, and the place was in disarray and falsely advertised. I paid for three nights in a deluxe balcony room that wasn't available, but stayed only one night. I've never done that before. I'm still waiting to hear about my refund, and honestly doubt it'll come through.

I was already sick, and ended up much worse, with wet hair and no idea when the water would return. At midnight there was no pressure, and then no water at all. We had no hot water for two days. I mentioned it to reception, but when I returned late in the afternoon, she didn't know if it had been fixed. We checked and nothing had been done. Staff came to look around midnight and eventually got hot water going, but there still wasn't enough pressure when I tried it. I don't recommend this place.
