Ecosfera Hotel

We honestly loved this mid-range hotel, and for the price it was fine. Booking was easy, the room's cleanliness was okay by Bali standards, though the bathroom felt a bit dirty. We're not too picky, and the staff were very polite. There’s an outdoor pool, a massage spa that we really liked, and an on-site restaurant with very good food. The foot salon and pedicure, though, were a total waste of money. It's all part of the experience. 🪷

We ended up staying at Ecosfera for most of our three weeks in Bali. After a few hotel nights, I walked in expecting a long stay might be pricey, but the room rates were more than reasonable. We booked two nights, added three more by the end of the first day, went to Ubud for two days, then returned for the last 11 nights of the trip. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with a little minibar for snacks. My seven-year-old son practically spent his whole vacation in the pool right outside our room. All the staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful. Ari, the client manager, was a particular favorite, a very nice guy who went out of his way to make our stay great. It was rainy season, and locals said it was the wettest in 40 years, but whenever something came up, the staff dealt with it incredibly fast. For value in the Eco Beach area, Ecosfera can't be beat, and it's just 100m from the beach and the cool little beach and chill-out bars. I'm coming back for a month in December and already know where I'll stay. Thanks to the whole team, including the room cleaners who became my son's best friends in Bali and played with him like he was one of their own. This really is the coolest little hotel I found in Bali.

The first room had air conditioning that was very loud and didn't cool properly, so the stay at Ecosfera Hotel in Canggu got off to a bad start. On the last night I booked a standard room, expecting at least the same quality, but it was worse. The rooms feel old and poorly maintained, and the hotel needs renovation. The location is okay, but the condition of the rooms made the stay uncomfortable. I wouldn't return unless they make improvements.

The beds were hard and uncomfortable, and the AC was weak, so those are the things that need work. Otherwise, we had a great stay: the room was clean and a good size, the grounds and pool were lovely, and breakfast had excellent choices. When we thought my daughter had lost her necklace, the staff were quick to try to help us find it. Great location.
